Piano Competition Alicante |

The Competition (8-11 July 2026) and Master Class (11-12-13 July 2026) is held in the Casa de Cultura of Sant Joan d'Alacant: Carrer la Mar, s/n, 03550 Sant Joan d'Alacant, Alicante

Practising facilities will be available for all the participants during the Competition and Master Classes.

July 8, 9: First round Category D
July 10: Category C, Finals of Category D
July 11: Categories Prodigy, A and B

Master Classes:
July 11: Markus Schirmer (Only Category D)
July 12, 13: István I. Székely, Neysun Rouhani, Denise Lutgens, Giuliano Adorno

Gonzalo Soriano was, without a doubt, one of the greatest Spanish pianists of all time.
The Alicante International Piano Competition is dedicated to his memory.

The main objective and reason for this competition is to offer and create opportunities for young and professional pianists. The main fuel of a Musician is Music -and of course- interpreting it.
We offer a great opportunity for all young pianists and professional pianists interested in showing their talent and hard work in a high quality event.

I am immensely grateful to our partners, first of to the Town Hall of Sant Joan d’Alacant, to the Centro Autorizado Profesional de Música Vila de Sant Joan , to the Sociedad Musical La Paz, to PianoMasterClass.com, the Orbetello International Piano Festival, the Rotary Club l'Alfás del Pi International, the Casa Cultura of Sant Joan d'Alacant and to Tempo Pianos in Alicante.
